We have a 4 year old male Doberman for sale.
His ears are clipped and his tail is docked.
He is not neutered. He does not go around marking - (Could negotiate getting him neutered if preferred).
He is registered and comes from the United States, however previous owner did not pass along the registration papers and is now unable to locate them.
He is used to living in the city, as well as out on an acreage. His sleek coat does not allow him to be a permanent outside dog, however he does not shed so would make a great indoor dog. We currently have him sleeping in the house for the night and he stays out in the garage with heat lamp and doggy door during the day.
He is used to children, horses, quads, bobcat, and other dogs. Due to his large size I would not leave him unattended with children.
He listens to commands very well and understands boundaries. We have asked him not to leave the front enterance area when in the house and he will stay put all evening and night long (even while eating supper).
Has never had an accident while indoors. Has never destroyed anything while in the garage or in the house.
Reason for selling is because he is starting to wonder to town (first time since we've owned him). Since he is a Doberman, it's obvious why he can't be out wandering the streets. We live on an acreage so our yard is not fenced to keep the dog in and it's too cruel to chain him. As I am a student and my husband works we can not leave him in the house for 10+ hours a day without being let out. It just isn't fair to the dog.
We are aksing $ for him but would consider REASONABLE offers to the right home. We would like to see him rehomed sooner than later as we will be away on holidays and do not want to worry about him while we are gone.
